Maybe this book will help. Very hard to connect with two dimensional people who would have to have a personal psi experience to even begin to see a new dimension of depth and things relating to Metaphysics. I wish it was stuff we could do on Q but not how it works and why you can not set up some lab test, happens when it happens, just hard sometimes understanding the difference between Director and Directee.

    Paranormal Phenomena and Berkeley's Metaphysics

    Peter B. Lloyd, July 1999

    Synopsis

    Chapter 1: Introduction

General introduction to psi phenomena, the mind-body problem, and George Berkeley's mental monism.
The need to move towards a general working theory.

    Chapter 2: Berkeley's Metaphysics

Detailed exposition of Berkeley's philosophy, aiming to give an exegesis of it rather than a defence of it.
Rigorous arguments for mental monism have been developed in the
accompanying volume, Consciousness and Berkeley's Metaphysics. A comparison is also made between Berkeley's philosophy and those found in Eastern religious tradition, with particular reference to Hindu
commentator Shankara's commentaries on the Upanishads.
    See extract: Berkeley's Metaphysics.

    Chapter 3: Psi Phenomena

Here I briefly give an overview of the scientific data supporting the existence of psi phenomena. It is not appropriate to go into the question of the existence of psi in great depth, as this has been covered adequately in other works, such as Dean Radin's book, The Conscious Universe. My concern here is rather to characterise psi phenomena: to describe what the key features of this phenomenon are. This covers both laboratory data from parapsychological laboratories around the world, and the 'remote viewing' data that has come out of the SRI / CIA / DIA research programme.

Chapter 4: Toward a Berkeleian Account of Psi

Berkeley's mental monism enables us to formulate a natural, coherent, and comprehensive account of a wide range of psi phenomena. The main ideas of this chapter will be found in Section 3 of a paper that I presented at a conference in Tokyo in May 1999, "Berkeleian ontology as a fundamental approach to consciousness".

    Chapter 5: Strange Manifestors

One of the implications of a Berkleian account of psi phenomena is that there may exist disembodied entities that can manifest imagery directly into human minds, by-passing the normal manifestation protocols that are observed in physical phenomena. This enables us to flesh out Carl Jung's theory of the exteriorised projections from the collective unconscious, which manifest in such strange forms as angels and flying saucers. By adopting this approach, we can also make sense of the collective properties of strange phenomena, not just ufos, that Jacques Vallee has studied.
Some of the material of this chapter can be read in Angels in Religious Traditions.

    Chapter 6: Psi Technology

This final chapter examines the prospects for humans to harness the principles of psi phenomena to develop novel forms of technology.
